The Roller Coaster is the title currently given to a project now in progress, that I intended starting several years ago. To write the definitive history of Minehead FC.
The club was formed in 1889, and much research will be necessary for the early years. I make no excuses for potentially lingering on the 1970’s, as this was very much the high point of the club’s Roller Coaster history. However the low points will also be documented.
The book will be based purely on the facts, though the storyline will contain hopefully amusing incidents which occurred along the way
Intended release date is winter 2007, and the whole project will be dedicated to my much missed father, who gave pretty well all of his spare time to the club from the early 70’s through to the mid 90’s when his health started to fail.
